spruce soundboards normally produce brighter sound. sitka spruce is the most common soundboard material that is available. but in terms of brightness and clearness, you might wanna try norway spruce.

back & side depends. if your definition of bright is trebly with massive high end tones, you can try maple. but if i were you, I'll go for rosewood for sure.
