I would definitely get in touch with factory for
confirmation, but I would venture to guess that
the basic build and specs on the -02s are
essentially the same as the -03s, with some very
basic cost-savings. The Larrivees would not
release a line that didn't measure up to their
standards, but a number of their build details
are rather expensive without actually adding to
the sound or playability of an instrument ( such
as the one-piece neck ) while other details (
such as the all solid-wood construction with
dovetail joint ) will probably never change.
The older -02s have always been very well
regarded, and these should be their equal in
tone and playability. |
