Im also lucky to own more than 1 guitar and one of them is a mahogany baby taylor. Such a sweet guitar to play with, easy to carry and makes a whole lot of noise. : )

My beginner's guitar is Takamine G series, EG-230, around 200 AUS dollars
I don't think I'm gonna get a better unless my skills improve

hey guy, i was working in Singapore. Trying to find some good stuff thr and found Maestro at Peninsula Plaza. tat time i was oso considering to get Takamine / Ayers but price wise, not affordable. Whc series r u using? glad to see friends from Sing :smile

Oops, sorry. Takamine was my old guitar, now I'm using an Esteve G series. Thinking of supporting my home brand, how's the sound of the Maetro?

Opps! sorry..

Maestro is good, but not the best yet. as i know Maestro guitar made in China. So most ppl from forum doesn't recommend to get Maestro due to its quality.
I chose Maestro bcoz it gives me da sound i want. cedar top, rosewood side and back tat produced a warm and bright sound. Most Taka comes with spruce top whr i don really like. Thr's 1 Ayers cedar top but i'm not affordable, and finally i choose da one da sound i like most.
i remembered 1st week i brought back my guitar, the cedar top was bulging near da bridge. tat time i'm actually regret of choosing Maestro. 1 mth after, da dealer promised to exchange with me a brand new guitar and now they've stopped producing EA3, i thk maybe da woods quality, not sure..

A little disappointed but not entirely shocking to hear since Singapore is still at its infant stage in terms of the luthier's art.

btw, i understand Maestro is selling their goods tat worth da price. i believed they'll able to produce a nice piece of art very soon.

I have two Pono guitars and 1 Crafter. But I'm trying to sell the Ponos away as I can't devote time to them. They are all great guitars for the money.

But I love the Crafter TB-Rose Plus so much and due to the cutaway and 21 frets, I only play Pierre Bensusan in DADGAD.

I have three guitar.. AEL 40 SE Ibanez it has very bright sound..t,, so i improvise it.. and Yamaha F 360 TBS it has freetless in 18th, but sound still warm .the last genta its from indonesia.. it cheap guitar..

but small guitar..cheap only 70$
