Explanation please ?

Could someone please explain to me and probably many others, how exactly the points or merit system works.

For instance when I joined a number of years ago it took only a few posts to earn 20 points However I've noticed that my points have changed and I now only have 10 points and thought that I needed 100 posts to accumulate those 20 points again

Please could someone enlighten me and others as to how this works as its frustating learning you cant view or download certain tabs because we dont have enough points

I've been here a number of years and feel cheated

I was aware of some of the points awarded for making new threads and posting, but I was a little unsure as to the brealdown of points earned for the amount of posts contributed, but your explanation answered my question, so it was big big help .

On your last point, who would be the best admin or moderater to discuss whether they might consider some lenancy to those who've been here a number of years ...
I doubt they will,but there can be no harm in asking I guess

I think you've summed it up well and although I originally came here because of Masaaki Kishibe tabs I quickly grew to appreciate the site for being more then just a site for tabs.. To see the growth and love/appreciation of fingertyle guitar in China, Japan and Korea is also encouraging and some what eye opening .
And as a westener I can say, wittout being patronizing, that some of the best modern fingertyle guitarists are from these countries and I look forward to see even more in the coming decades .

i have a few questions:
_do those points decrease?
_how many points do i need to have to start downloading?
_to download something, does it only need points or, as 0p9o's word, our power?
_below avatar, there are titles like "高中生", "大学生"..., and some symbols like star, jolly face... how can i have those things?
_i see that some posts have "reward points", what is it?
i do appreciate if someone can tell me

_ Some tabs do cost, so yes your points can decrease depending on what some tabs might be worth
_ You can download some tabs without having having poinst but that's more the exception then the rule, in my experience
_And yes some posts only require you to reply to them and then you can download the file I usually just say thnx and that reveals the file link.
Not sure on you last 2 points

when i active in soulmelodi.. the point works well if you attach item..you will get reward..for the item you attach in the server.. not attach the link..thats way i think
